Through the Award, participants not only discover their own boundaries; they gain useful skills and experiences and form new friendships. They also gain a globallly-recognised certificate, which is again recognised across several universitieis and organsiations. Each certificate, along with a badge for each category, is handed out at an Award Ceremony.
The Award ceritifcate shows that the young person has completed each section of the Award through developing new skills, increasing physical health, assisting society and taking part in an Adventurous journey. These skills and experiences gained through the Award increases the young person’s confidence simplying the process of entering a university or joining their dream job.
Pariticpants who have completed the Award can continue to be part of the global Award family by joining the Alumni network. They can also take part in Award Leader and Supervisor training in order to help spread the Award to as many young people as possible.
